Same team. Same processes. So why can other companies execute it, and yours cannot?
Six days inside Pang Dong Lai, observing how Freedom, Love and Dignity stop being three words on a wall and become service standards, staff systems and customer trust that actually run every single day. Hold it against your own company, and you will know which link to fix first.

Every line below is something we hear repeatedly from Malaysian companies. Select the ones that apply.
Select the statements above that apply.
All eight point back to the same thing: standards.
The value is not the store itself. The value is what your management team sees, aligns on and executes once they are back.
A learning journey designed for leadership teams —
to rethink service standards, customer trust, employee culture and operating discipline.
It is that here, the values are visible.
Not on the wall, but in what every employee does, every day.
The most common reaction after one full walkthrough: so this really can be done.
Pang Dong Lai has turned human values into operating standards that can be repeated.
Teams are trusted to solve problems. Systems exist to support people, not to restrict them.
Treating customers and staff well is treated as a commercial commitment to be honoured, not a slogan.
Respect, trust and emotional safety are what allow a service standard to hold over the long term.
They are decoding the logic that makes the whole experience possible.
Operational details that look trivial are precisely what expose the invisible system behind customer trust.
Front line behaviour changes only when staff are genuinely respected and supported, never through lectures.
This store is deliberately designed to feel warm, human and memorable — and that design can be taken apart.
Culture only becomes believable when every decision the owner makes reinforces the same set of values.
It appears on no line of your profit and loss statement, yet it consumes margin every day.
The value of Pang Dong Lai is that it gives you a visible reference —
so you know what execution actually looks like.

A Malaysian management team is rarely uniform. The programme is arranged so that every member joins the same visits, eats at the same table, and follows the same explanation in real time.
The programme is run as a Muslim friendly journey, so a mixed Malaysian management team can travel together without anyone having to opt out.
Halal meals are provided throughout the itinerary. Dietary requirements are collected at registration, not sorted out on the day.
Interpreters travel with the group. Every visit is explained in a language your team understands, as it happens — nothing is lost in the room.
No soundtrack, no voiceover. Recorded by delegates on the day of the visit.
More importantly, they saw the service, staffing and management problems inside their own companies.

We work with four types of company. If yours is one of them, these six days will land hard. If not, we will tell you so directly.
Because of that selectivity,
the owners who hold real decision-making authority conclude: this one was designed for me.
Visits, breakdown sessions and debriefs alternate — not observe and leave, but observe and convert into an action list for your company on the spot.
On arrival in Zhengzhou, clarify the questions you intend to take home. Without a question, everything you see is merely spectacle.
On-site observation: service flow, staff behaviour, detail design and customer emotion — observed through a defined framework, not casually.
Trace what you saw back to systems, remuneration, delegation and leadership decisions, to establish why it works.
What is observed on the day is discussed and documented on the day. Delegates question and support one another.
Every delegate is an owner or decision maker. Six days of shared learning is where a number of collaborations have begun.
The first change, the first month and the first quarter after returning — completed before the group disperses.
In the same store, one person sees tidiness. Another sees an entire human resource system.
Leads the group throughout, translating what is observed on site into commercial language Malaysian owners can understand and apply, and chairs the daily debriefs.
Brings an organisational and leadership lens, helping delegates read the design logic behind the systems and identify which layer to address on returning.
One message and you get all three: the current rate, the full six day itinerary, and a breakdown of exactly what the fee covers. Usually back to you the same day.
Quoted per person on twin sharing · excludes return flights and travel insurance · no shopping stops, no sales pitches

What you are buying is not a trip to Zhengzhou.
It is six days to decide whether your company
is going to start building standards properly.

Yes, and usually more than expected. What you observe is not shelf layout. It is how service standards are set, how employees are treated, how complaints are recovered, and how culture turns into daily action. Manufacturing, food and beverage, education, services and professional firms face the same class of problem, and past delegates have come from across all of them.
It is a learning programme. The itinerary alternates between on-site observation, live breakdown sessions and daily debriefs, with the objective that you return holding an action list you can execute immediately, rather than a set of photographs.
Yes. The journey is run as a Muslim friendly programme and halal meals are provided throughout the itinerary. Dietary requirements are collected at registration so they are confirmed in advance rather than sorted out on the day. If your team has specific requirements, raise them with Jesson before you register and we will confirm what can be arranged.
Yes. Our own interpreters travel with the group, and every visit is explained in a language your team understands as it happens. On-site interpretation was rated 9.72 out of 10 by past delegates.
No. The most valuable thing to observe at Pang Dong Lai is how a single action is executed identically every time, which matters as much for a ten person company as a thousand person one. The on-site breakdown is brought down to a level a smaller business can apply.
Strongly recommended, and it is the most effective way to use the programme. An owner understanding it alone is not enough to drive change; the team seeing it together is what moves the organisation. MKA Group and Melody Kindyland in the case studies both did exactly this. For group arrangements, speak to Jesson directly.
The six days and five nights are full, but not hurried. Coach transfers are provided throughout, and evenings retain time to process and exchange.
Malaysian passport holders currently enjoy visa-free entry to China, so a separate visa is generally not required. Policy at the time of departure applies, and we will help you confirm this after registration.
The fee excludes return flights and travel insurance. After registration we provide recommended flights and booking assistance so the group arrives together. Travel insurance can be purchased independently, and we are happy to advise.
Yes. The fee is quoted on twin sharing. If you require a single room, message Jesson on WhatsApp for the supplement.
The current rate is shared on request, together with the full itinerary and a breakdown of what the fee covers, so you are comparing like for like rather than a number in isolation. Message Jesson Lim on WhatsApp at +6016-7100 678 and he will send all three. Return flights and travel insurance are not included.
Message Jesson Lim on WhatsApp at +6016-7100 678. We will send the registration form, full itinerary and payment details. Registration is completed on bank transfer, with the receipt confirmed over WhatsApp.
No. The purpose of the daily debriefs is that you return holding an action list built for your own company. Delegates also stay in contact afterwards, and a number of collaborations and referrals have started from within a single group.
Pang Dong Lai matters because it lets a management team see with their own eyes
what customer first actually looks like once it becomes operating reality.
That is why these six days are capable of changing a business.
